Animal morality: A sense of fairness

Empathy, cooperation, fairness and reciprocity -- caring about the well-being of others seem like very human traits. But researchers are coming to recognize that all of these traits are shared by non human animals. In his recent Ted Talk, Frans de Waal shared some surprising videos of behavioral tests on primates. This clip is from a "fairness" study, designed to test whether animals could recognize unfair/unequal treatment, and to see how they respond to it.
