Beautiful hi-res picture of Earth shot from new weather satellite

MSG-3, Europe’s latest weather satellite, delivers its first image. Today (August 7, 2012), the Spinning Enhanced Visible and Infrared Imager (SEVIRI) instrument on MSG-3 captured a beautiful image of Earth.
