Largest 3D map of universe ever created

For this map more than 200 million galaxies were photographed and a for another 1.35 million, the distance was measured. The result of the SDSS III Baryon Oscillation Spectroscopic Survey is beautiful. The map is still work in progress with an ultimate objective of mapping all systems to about six billion light years away.
